I attended the great Delta State University where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education in Social Science Education. That was in 1993BG (Before Google), when we had to live at the library and research in actual books(!) to get an education.

I have been a teacher at Hernando Middle School since 2001. I started as a Spotlight teacher but a few years ago I began transitioning to 7th grade Social Studies. After 5 years of teaching Eastern Hemisphere and Gifted Eastern Hemisphere, I now teach 6th grade Spotlight and 7th grade Social Studies. In addition, I have taken over 300 students and parents to Europe over the years.
