Brittney Hood

My name is Brittney Hood and this will be my 2nd year at Hernando Middle teaching 8th grade Science.

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelors in Graphic Design. I then pursued my teaching license through Belhaven College.

Prior to joining the Tiger family I taught at Horn Lake Middle for 5 years - 6th grade science and math, Horn Lake Intermediate for 1 year - 4th grade ELA, and 1 year at Southaven Middle - 6th grade Inclusion. 

My husband and I live in Hernando with our daughter Hadley who will be in 3rd grade this year and goldendoodle named Rosebud. We are excited to be welcoming our second daughter this summer. We attend church at Longview Point and love supporting local events around town.
