My name is Lauren Allinder. I have been in the profession of educating our youth for 11 years now. Within those 11 years, I've had the pleasure of teaching 1st, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Although my undergraduate degree specifies in elementary education, my true love of teaching falls within the middle grades.
I finished my undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi along with my student teaching in Liverpool, England, where I lived for 5 months. After teaching for 4 years, I ventured back to school to complete my graduate degree in educational theory and practice from Arkansas State University.
As an educator, it is my mission to inspire young people to take the information I gift them and use it in their own lives. This includes a love of reading and writing. It is my hope that my students see themselves as readers, writers, researchers, and difference makers.
