My name is Mrs. Marlana Porter and I am thrilled to be teaching 7th grade English this year! This will be my 7th year teaching. I am excited to meet your child and help them succeed this school year!
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in English, Science, and Social Studies from the University of Mississippi. I recently earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.
I have been married to my husband, Hunter, for ten years. We have a daughter, Henley (7), and two sons, Mason (5), and McCoy (6 months).
