Thank you for bringing your child to Hernando Middle School and allowing me the opportunity to teach them and learn from them. Throughout the year, we will discuss different types of writing, improve our grammar skills, increase our reading comprehension levels, and master all of the 6th grade standards.

I went to The University of Mississippi where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education in 2002.
Experience
I student taught at Hernando Middle School in the spring of 2002. I have taught 6th grade at Hernando Middle School ever since I graduated in May of 2002.
Bio
I live in Hernando with my husband and our two children, Logan and Lauren. Logan is a senior at HHS, and Lauren is a sophomore at HHS. This is my 21st year teaching 6th grade at HMS! I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl playing school with my cousins. I love teaching and being around the students!
I have coached the cheer team and the dance team at HMS in the past! Both of my children play school sports, and we are all proud to be TIGERS!
