Hi there!
My name is Tasha Farrish. This 2023-2024 school year is my third year here at HMS! In 2010, I graduated from William Carey University in Biloxi, MS with my Bachelors Degree. I continued my education at WCU and received my Masters Degree in 2012. I have ten years of teaching under my belt. My first five years were at Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary in D'Iberville, MS. While at SH, I taught pre k4, 4th, 5th and 6th grade. My husband's new job, in Memphis, brought us to Desoto County. We packed up our home in Ocean Springs, MS and began making our new home here. I spent three years here in DCS at HLIS, teaching 5th grade ELA. My family is made up of my husband, three sweet little boys and a few loving pets.
My goal as your child's teacher is to build a lasting relationship, encourage and support, help him/her reach educational goals and have a little fun along the way! I could not be more certain I was placed at HMS to be part of your child's life! I am very excited to get this school year kicked off and see what it has in store for us!
