Monday: Donate your teacher's favorite school supply.
Tuesday: Write a kind note or draw a picture for your teacher.
Wednesday: Give compliments to teachers and staff!
Thursday: Bring your teac her their favorite drink or snack.
Friday: Dress like your teacher or wear their favorite color.

Volleyball Tryouts
6th grade- April 8; 7th Grade April 9
3:00-4:30 PM in the gym
Must have a physical (Bring to Coach Morrison before tryout date).
Must wear tennis shoes (no dunks or Jordans).
Must wear athletic clothing.
HLMS Western Spring Fling
Friday, April 4 from 5:00-7:30 PM
Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunches.
Admission includes a beverage and a snack item, and a concession stand will also be available for food purchases.
HLMS will hold a 6th grade football interest meeting for parents of rising 7th graders on March 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the gym. Contact Coach Black for more information. (jordan.black@dcsms.org)
Reminder: Deliveries are not allowed at HLMS on Valentine's Day.
HLMS needs proctors for state testing from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on the dates below. If you are 18 or older and are available to help, please contact our testing coordinator, Kathleen Hatten at kathleen.hatten@dcsms.org or call the front office at 662-393-7443.

HLMS Track Tryouts will be held immediately after school on 2/5/25. Meet immediately after school in the cafeteria. Tryouts end at 4:30, so you need to have a ride here to pick you up at 4:30 p.m. You must have a physical exam. See Coach Love or Coach Hughes for more information.
